a couple of curmudgeonly thoughts

No, not PMS time again. Just generally holiday crankiness and carping.

I'm looking at Brian Wilson, and anyone who's read my blog before knows that I live for these 2 hours each Sunday. Bri (that's what Tallis calls him) seems to have developed one of those adorable skunky streaks in his otherwise (unusually) dark hair. Cute, looks hot and mature at the same time. But I also just saw a clip of Babs Boxer blathering away in her usual inane style, and she too has a skunky streak suddenly. Hmmm. Coincidence? Or were they at the same sleepover?

David Asman lwas supposedly (or at least publicly) delighted to cede his high profile weekday noon time slot to Bill Hemmer in order to work on documentaries for FNC, a move up careerwise so was said. Be that as it may (I've been around the block too many times to not be a skeptic about business motivations), I only seem to see him now at low visibility times. A doc he hosted was on at 4am today. Yup, that's where I'd put my stars.

Megyn Kendall: sleeping with the right people? Sure is on a lot, even when a story might be covered more expertly by another in the FNC legal stable. When I first started seeing her, I thought she was absolutely adorable, but her looks have not worn all that well with me. Possibly just overexposure. But foreign correspondent, Jennifer Griffin, whom I thought a plain Jane at first, keeps getting better looking.

Eric Shawn. I ought to like him more than I do. I usually go for artistic looking, thin, balding blondes. But Eric, dear, those glasses of yours look like they've been around since the 70's. If your insurance coverage is truly that lame, I'd happily spot you a small loan.
